This project involves conducting an Environmental Baseline Surveys and Assessment (EBSA) Study for Sewage Treatment Plant No. 2 at Jeddah Airport, with a capacity of 500,000 m³/day. The study includes a comprehensive environmental and social assessment of the existing plant, aligning with NCEC regulations and IFC performance standards. It covers desk-based reviews (e.g., air quality, geology, hydrology, socio-economic data) and extensive field measurements, including air and noise quality, soil and groundwater testing, marine and terrestrial ecology, and assessments of social, economic, and cultural heritage impacts.
