This project covers the Environmental Baseline Surveys and Assessment (EBSA) Study for the new sewage treatment plant in the west of Dammam, with a capacity of up to 330,000 m³/day. It includes a comprehensive environmental and social assessment in line with NCEC regulations and IFC performance standards. The study involves both desk-based reviews (covering air quality, geology, hydrology, and socio-economic conditions) and field investigations such as air and noise monitoring, soil and groundwater testing, ecological assessments, marine water and sediment analysis, and evaluation of social, economic, and cultural heritage impacts.
