The project includes preparation of Environmental Studies for the Sewage Treatment Plants sites in Madinah, Tabuk and Buraidah, as well as study of each outfall separately, preparation of environmental advisory study for each site, issuance of environmental approval for sites by the General Authority for Meteorology and Environmental Protection, as well as permission for the disposal of treated wastewater from outfall with assurance of importance of utilizing that water as part of the reuse projects.
