The scope of this project involved conducting a comprehensive root cause analysis to identify the underlying factors responsible for the extreme hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) emissions at the Dammam ISTP. As part of the assignment,principles developed recommendations aimed at reducing and controlling odor emissions at the Dammam ISTP. The scope also included a review and validation of the odor mitigation and fixing solutions submitted by the EPC Contractor to ensure their adequacy, effectiveness, and alignment with best environmental practices. All findings, assessments, and proposed measures were consolidated into the Final Root Cause Analysis Report submitted to Dammam West Water.
